Funding for New Tech Innovations by Wales’ SMEs
Grants are available for small and medium businesses in Wales to commercialise new technologies and ideas.
AgorIP is inviting Wales’ small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to apply for support to bring new technologies and ideas to the market and facilitate the commercialisation of research.
Agor means ‘Open’ in Welsh and IP stands for Intellectual Property (IP). AgorIP helps firms to realise the potential of their ideas, products, or research. Experts are available to help take IP to the marketplace and make it a commercial success.
This funding call is for innovative and technology transfer projects. Funding can vary up to £10,000; sometimes more, depending on the innovation.
The programme focuses on:
- IP Protection
- Business Strategists
- Legal Contract Managers
- Specialist Market Reports
- NHS Assessment Guidance
- Mentors & Commercial leads
SMEs based throughout Wales, covering the two funding regions West Wales and the Valleys and East Wales, may apply. The business should have IP ready to take to market.
The deadline for applications is Friday 22 October 2021 (16:00 BST).
