Edinburgh Festival Showcase Support for Wales-based Creatives

A national funding programme is inviting applications.

Funding is available for Wales-based professional producing companies and creative professionals to present their work at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The Wales in Edinburgh programme is delivered through Wales Arts International, the international agency of Arts Council of Wales. For Wales’ performing arts companies, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe represents an opportunity to present their work internationally. The Festival is attended by audiences, programmers, promoters and producers from across the UK and the world. The Arts Council of Wales believes that its performing arts companies should be given the chance to shine in such a global context.

The total amount available for Wales in Edinburgh 2022 is £80,000. ACW would expect to fund between 4 and 5 applicants with strong proposals and who are showcase ready.

Professional producing companies and creative professionals may apply. Applicants must be able to prove that their company or practice is based in Wales or that they have worked extensively in Wales.

The deadline for applications is 17:00 GMT on 2 March 2022.
