Bank of Scotland Foundation’s Invest Programme Reopens for 2023
Registered charities across Scotland can apply for multi-year funding to address disadvantages, exclusion, and support vulnerable people through crisis.
Bank of Scotland Foundation is offering grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 for charities tackling disadvantage and social exclusion in Scotland. Through the Invest Programme, charities with an annual income of between £50,000 and £1 million can apply for multi-year funding (up to five years), to address disadvantage and social exclusion, and provide vulnerable people with opportunity and equality.
Funding is available for projects that address the following themes:
- Disadvantage – Such as homelessness, abuse, mental health, poverty, debt issues, learning difficulties, illiteracy, or employability issues.
- Social Exclusion – For example, among minority groups, people with disabilities, LGBT people, drug users, care leavers, the elderly, or the young.
Funding can be used to cover the following:
- Project work, such as project, staff, and material costs.
- Core costs, such as salaries, utilities, or rent.
- Capital costs, such as building or repair projects, and equipment.
Applicants must be registered in Scotland, have a minimum of three years of accounts with the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR), and have been operational for at least three years.
The deadline for applications is 6 March 2023 (noon).
