Grants for Black and Global Majority-Led Enterprise Projects Across England
Funding is available for black and global majority-led charities and social enterprises to deliver enterprise projects that address the issues of climate, poverty, and racial equity, whilst improving organisational resilience.
Pathway Fund, in partnership with Do It Now Now (DiNN), is offering 12 grants of £30,000 for black and global majority-led charities and social enterprises in Greater London, Nottingham, West Yorkshire, and Greater Manchester, to help groups build operational readiness and financial resilience, raise social investment, and prepare for asset acquisition.
The Make it Big with Pathway Fund will focus on enterprise projects that enable groups to grow sustainably and deliver equitable outcomes for under-served populations across two impact areas:
- Climate and racial equity.
- Poverty alleviation and racial equity.
Funding can be used to further develop existing projects to scale them to larger populations within 24-36 months.
To apply, groups must have at least 75% of their directors, trustees, or equivalent governing body members come from black and global majority communities.
There is a multi-stage application process. Groups must first complete an online expression of interest form, before being shortlisted to complete an organisational health check and receive support and training to create a full grant proposal.
The deadline to submit an expression of interest is 16 November 2023.
