Business Grants up to £170,000 for Low Carbon Propulsion Technologies

The Technology Developer Accelerator Programme has been created to support companies developing innovative low-carbon propulsion technologies that can be applied to the automotive industry.

The technology will probably be at an early stage of development and the company may not be sure how to move forward with elements such as understanding the viability of the technology, business planning and validating the product or testing.

Practical support includes expert advice from specialists who will work alongside the company as it develops the technology ready for market as well as a grant to support the process.

Those who have a product or technology with the potential to reduce the environmental impact of the transport sector could be eligible for up to £170,000 of combined grant funding, technical support and business mentoring.

The programme is open to micro, small and medium-sized technology developers, start-ups and university spinouts in the UK. Applicants must have a net-zero emission technology concept that requires additional investment and support to achieve market-readiness.

Expressions of Interest and Full Applications for Wave 8 are open until 27 February 2024 (12:00).
