IP Advance is provided by the UK Intellectual Property Office (IPO) and delivered through UK partners: Innovate UK Business Growth, Welsh Government, Scottish Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise, and Invest Northern Ireland.
The scheme is intended to support small businesses with targeted advice and support to help them understand their IP, and develop and implement an IP strategy.
There are two levels of support available:
- IP Audit provides part-funding of £2,250 towards the cost of an IP audit.
- IP Access provides a contribution of up to £2,250 for IP professional advice to progress an IP management strategy or implement recommendations from the IP audit.
SMEs in the UK can apply.
Applications can be submitted, at any time, to the IPO via a Business Advisor from the relevant regional partner.
