Scottish Enterprise – CAN DO Offshore Wind Innovation Feasibility Challenge Call

Grants are available to Scottish businesses for detailed design, technical and/or commercial feasibility studies to support the development of innovative solutions to be deployed in the offshore wind sector.
The funding is intended to support the development of innovative technology solutions that address key challenges within Scotland’s offshore wind sector, helping to evaluate the feasibility of such projects.
The challenge call objectives are as follows:
- Innovative technology solutions must accelerate project implementation in the offshore wind sector, supporting carbon emission reduction and Scotland’s ambition for a zero-emissions future.
- Applicants must plan to develop and demonstrate prototype solutions in Scotland.
- Prototype solutions can address the whole system, subsystems or key components.
- Applicants must intend to commercialise their solutions, contributing to Scotland’s green economic recovery with a clear long-term impact on green economy-related jobs in Scotland.
