Fife – Levenmouth Reconnected Programme
Closing Date: –
Funding for projects to improve local infrastructure and community services, create employment opportunities, and to increase wellbeing and economic prospects of the Levenmouth area.
The aims of LRP are to stimulate sustainable growth and economic prosperity in the Levenmouth area. Small grants can be used towards the cost of larger eligible projects if required.
The programme is jointly funded by Fife Council and Transport Scotland, and is managed by staff within Fife Council.
Projects should address the four funding criteria:
- Opportunities for all: improve health outcomes for local people; increase family learning and adult learning opportunities; support local services for the young, old and vulnerable people; support anti-poverty interventions.
- Thriving places: create improvements in transport connectivity (walking, cycling, bus and rail); have targeted action on anti-social behaviour issues; improve local town centres; maximise the quality of the built and natural environment; help Levenmouth adapt to the effects of climate change whilst helping to deliver Scotland’s net zero targets.
- Inclusive jobs and growth: increase local opportunities for skills development and training; support tourism and leisure employment opportunities; ensure a local dividend from the energy park development and other large-scale local projects.
- Community-led services: develop and support community leadership in all forms; increase volunteering opportunities; increased use of participatory budget approaches; promote and support community asset transfer.
