Jeans for Genes Grant Programme 2026

Closing Date: 02/03/2026

Flexible, unrestricted grants are available to support small frontline, genetic condition charities and their communities across the UK.

This grants programme is focused on the following impact goals:

  • Organisations serving the genetic condition community become stronger, more resilient and sustainable improving their ability to meet need and provide appropriate support in the long term.
  • Every individual in the UK living with a genetic condition and their family is able to access the appropriate support at the time they need it so that they feel supported, valued and included.

The funding is for work that creates meaningful and lasting changes for people affected by genetic conditions.

This year (2026) the charity is running a pilot programme to build closer partnerships with three ‘spotlight’ charities who will be offered a larger grant of up to £10,000 to work with Jeans for Genes to improve the awareness of genetic conditions. This option is open to all applicants, regardless of their size.

The Spotlight programme is a pilot for 2026 to build partnerships and develop stories to improve the awareness of genetic conditions amongst the wider public.
