Funding is available to support schools across Scotland in their delivery of film and screen education.
The funding is intended to support innovative screen education projects for pupils in Scotland’s early years, primary, and secondary schools. Its objectives are to:
- Expand access to film and screen learning for pupils.
- Support teacher professional development in screen education.
- Embed screen education as a sustainable part of the school curriculum and experience.
- Develop pupils’ creative, critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Promote the value of screen education within schools and communities.
- Support the long-term growth and diversity of Scotland’s screen sector.
