Government funding is available for businesses in England employing apprentices, offering financial support and training cost contributions based on the apprentice’s age and individual circumstances.
Government funding is available to support apprenticeship training and associated costs. Employers may receive financial incentives for taking on eligible apprentices, including additional support for foundation apprenticeships.
Funding is also provided to help apprentices improve their English and maths skills, allowing employers to recruit without setting entry requirements in these subjects. Businesses may benefit from reduced employment costs, including exemption from employer National Insurance contributions for apprentices under 25 earning below £50,270.
