Leigh – Pride in Place Fund: Call for Projects

Grants are available to local community and voluntary organisations, businesses, public sector organisations, charities and residents in Leigh to support projects that improve the town centre, strengthen local communities and address key challenges facing the area.
The programme supports the delivery of Leigh’s 10-year regeneration plan by funding projects that improve the town centre, strengthen communities, and enhance local pride, safety and wellbeing. It is designed to turn community priorities into deliverable projects through two funding streams:
- The Leigh Fund – for medium to large capital and revenue projects that transform how people see and experience the town and/or create a safe and welcoming town.
- The Community Fund – for small scale community-led activity that builds pride, cohesion and connections, aligned with the Leigh Pride in Place vision and objectives, particularly during the 2026-2030 investment period.
