Applications Invited for Scottish Government’s National Drugs Mission Children and Families Fund
Public sector organisations, charities, social enterprises, community groups and other voluntary organisations have until 1 December to apply for funding to deliver work that supports children and families affected by drugs and alcohol.
Grants of up to £100,000 per year for up to four years are available for community-based organisations with experience delivering frontline services to help them sustain, stabilise, or increase capacity, extend or improve services, and/or meet identified gaps in service provision.
The Children and Families Fund will support projects that provide fast and appropriate access to treatment and care that are based in partnership approaches that support people by taking a rights-based and whole-family approach. Proposed projects and activities must involve children and families with lived experience, and preference will be given to projects that include co-production approaches to service design, delivery, and review. Priority will also be given to projects that involve statutory and third sector organisations working closely together to meet the needs of children and families.
Funding can be used for service development and improvements, including additional staffing, co-production costs and contributions to overheads.
The deadline for applications is 1 December 2022 (13:00).
