Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust Launches New Funding Opportunity
Funding to help UK’s armed forces charities be better prepared for the future
Rise is a pilot programme for small and medium armed forces charities supporting members of the armed forces community in need of special consideration – people and families who have given the most in service. The programme aims to help charities build strong foundations so they can support their beneficiaries better in the long term.
This programme is a very small pilot, and the Trust is only looking to award a small number of grants of up to £30,000 for project delivery over a period of 6 to 12 months.
Organisations that have been registered as a charity for three or more years are eligible to apply. Their charitable objects, as outlined in their governing document, must explicitly state that they support the armed forces community.
Commenting, Anna Wright, Chief Executive Officer, Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust said:
“The Rise Programme is about giving charities the time and resources they need to strengthen their foundations. By investing in governance, planning, and collaboration, we’re helping organisations that support the armed forces community to become more resilient and sustainable. This is an opportunity to step back, take stock, and build for the future-so they can continue delivering life-changing support to those who have given so much in service.”
The deadline for application is 18 February 2026 (midday).
