Emergency Grants Available for Retailers Affected by Recent Riots

The Federation of Independent Retailers (the Fed) has announced the availability of emergency grants for members whose businesses have been damaged by recent riots in towns and cities across England and Northern Ireland.

The grants, which are available through the Fed’s Ratcliffe Fund, aim to provide financial assistance to members in need of urgent support.

These grants are part of a broader range of support measures the Fed is offering to those impacted by the disturbances. In addition to the financial aid, members can access guidance on making insurance claims, legal advice, and information on other sources of help and support.

Eligible members can apply for a one-time grant of up to £1,000. To qualify, members must be located in areas that have experienced rioting.

The initiative underscores the Fed’s commitment to supporting its members during challenging times and helping them recover from the impact of the recent unrest.

Affected members are encouraged to contact the Fed directly by telephone or email to request an application form.
