Closing Date: –
Support for UK start-ups and established businesses from any sector to develop and commercialise space-enabled products and services through funding, business support and market access.
The ACCESS programme (Accelerating Commercialisation and Competitiveness of the European Space Sector) is an initiative from the European Space Agency designed to support the commercial use of space technologies across Europe. It helps companies develop space-enabled products and services for space and non-space markets, supporting organisations from start-ups to established firms.
ACCESS brings together two existing ESA activities. ScaleUp supports businesses through ideation, incubation, acceleration and scaling, providing access to networks, business support and market opportunities. Business Applications and Space Solutions (BASS) offers funding, business expertise and connections to help space-based services and products reach commercial viability.
Approved at ESA’s 2025 Ministerial Council, the programme includes funding intended to strengthen the competitiveness of Europe’s space sector.
ACCESS provides structured pathways and targeted support to assist businesses in developing commercially focused applications, encouraging the use of space technologies across multiple industries.
