Ethnic Minority Development Fund Reopens for 2024 (Scotland)
Cemvo Scotland is offering grants of between £500 and £15,000 for ethnic minority-led third-sector organisations to support projects that promote the well-being of ethnic minority communities.
Through the Ethnic Minority Development Fund, support is available for projects and activities across Scotland that achieve at least one of the following priorities:
- Bring ethnic minority people together and build strong relationships across communities.
- Help more ethnic minority people to be the best they can be, by supporting them as soon as possible.
- Improve places and spaces that matter to ethnic minority communities.
Funding can be used for a variety of costs, including but not limited to:
- Equipment.
- One-off events.
- Small land or building projects.
- Staff costs.
- Training costs.
- Transport.
- Utilities/running costs.
- Volunteer expenses.
Proposed projects should involve community members in the design, development, and delivery of any planned activities.
The deadline for applications is 15 April 2024 (midnight).
