Funding to Improve Green Spaces Across London

The City of London Corporation is offering grants of between £2,000 and £15,000 for registered charities, community interest companies, and other not-for-profit organisations to deliver a range of projects and activities that benefit, improve access to, and increase community knowledge of the City of London Corporation’s green spaces.

The Enjoying Green Spaces and the Natural Environment Grants Programme is separated into five subthemes.  Proposed projects should address at least one of the first two subthemes and at least one of the remaining three subthemes:

• Improving the conservation value of green spaces.
• Improving knowledge of the biodiversity of green spaces.
• Connecting communities with their green spaces.
• Providing opportunities for children and young people to learn and have fun.
• Improving well-being through the use of green spaces.

Any funding requests must be justified and time-limited to a maximum of three years.
