Know Your Neighbourhood Fund Round Two Opens August 2023
From 15 August, voluntary creative organisations in designated areas across England can apply for funding to deliver targeted creative activities that aim to reduce loneliness and isolation.
Creative Lives is offering project grants of up to £10,000, and partnership grants of up to £20,000, for voluntary creative groups to promote and deliver targeted creative activities to support people at risk of loneliness and isolation in designed areas across England.
Through the Know Your Neighbourhood Fund, provided by the Department of Culture, Media, and Sport (DCMS) with support from Arts Council England, support is available for creative activities that help to reduce loneliness, as well as exploring ways that creative activities can build connections and a sense of belonging within the community.
Following the completion of the pilot round across five priority areas earlier this year, the second round of funding will be administered by Creative Lives and will be accepting applications from all 27 Know Your Neighbourhood areas across England.
There will be a separate application process for project grants and partnership grants. Partnership grants will follow a two-stage application process, wherein groups must first submit an expression of interest before submitting a full application.
Applications can be submitted from 15 August 2023.
