New Funding to Support Campaigns Tackling Social Injustice in Scotland
Grants are available for charities, community interest companies and incorporated bodies in Scotland to develop campaigns addressing social injustice through the Ideas for Change Fund developed by Changing Ideas in partnership with Inspiring Scotland.
The Fund aims to build momentum and establish a foundation for long-term advocacy and action on issues of unfairness. Grants of between £3,000 and £10,000 are available for projects lasting up to 12 months, starting from December 2025.
Eligible applicants must be Scottish-registered organisations working in Scotland, though campaigns may have a wider UK impact. Funding is intended for campaigns focused on social injustice, including racism, poverty, gender inequality, disability rights, housing or climate injustice.
Supported projects may involve research to understand and validate key issues, testing campaign messages or tactics, convening stakeholders to build collaboration or piloting new ideas to explore innovative approaches. Applicants are expected to involve people with lived experience of the issue in shaping their campaigns.
The deadline for applications is 21 November 2025 (17:00).
