NI Crime Prevention Funding Programme Invites Applications
Communities in Northern Ireland are invited to apply for crime prevention project funding.
Funding is available to community organisations in Northern Ireland for projects aimed at preventing crime or reducing the fear of crime.
The Assets Recovery Community Scheme is provided by the Northern Ireland Executive’s Department of Justice. The scheme allows monies received from the payment of confiscation orders following a criminal confiscation to be diverted into community projects across Northern Ireland to support communities and individuals and address some of the harmful impacts from a wide range of crimes.
Voluntary and community sector organisations, registered charities, and statutory bodies delivering projects in community settings in Northern Ireland may apply.
The scheme has a total budget of approximately £900,000, comprising approximately £300,000 in 2022/23 and approximately £600,000 in 2023/24.
The maximum total grant available is £10,000 in 2022/23 and £25,000 in 2023/24 per application.
Funding is intended for projects running between October 2022 and March 2024 or periods in between.
The deadline for applications is 1 September 2022 (5pm).
