Grants are available to successful UK supply chain companies to develop new products and services for the offshore wind sector.
The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership Innovation Grants are aimed at delivering new products, services, and technologies into the offshore wind market.
Grants are available to UK companies that are already active in the offshore wind supply chain or seeking to diversify into the sector. They will be awarded on a competitive basis, with successful proposals demonstrating near-to-market or market ready solutions and a clear ambition for growth in the sector.
The grant will fund projects targeting future cables and electrical systems, and next generation installation, operations and maintenances technologies within the sector. The aim is to support the development of new products and services. The call is open to a range of proposals across the existing supply chain and beyond.
The scope of the current call is focuses on key challenges in the UK offshore wind supply chain, with projects that will address offshore wind innovation priorities as identified by industry, and lead to an increase in UK jobs, turnover, intellectual property, and exports in the offshore wind sector.
