This initiative gives eligible pubs and live music venues in England a 15% business rates discount in 2026-27, followed by inflation-only increases for the next two years.
The Pubs and Live Music Venues Relief offers a 15% reduction in business rates bills for eligible pubs and live music venues for the 2026-27 financial year. This will be applied on top of any other reliefs the business already receives.
After that year, eligible businesses will have their bills frozen in real terms for 2027-28 and 2028-29, meaning increases only by inflation.
