TechX Clean Energy Accelerator Opens for 2024 Cohort Applications
This intensive programme combines grants and expert support for innovative clean energy start-ups to accelerate the transition to an affordable net zero energy industry.
The £1.2 million TechX Clean Energy Accelerator aims to help innovative clean energy start-ups develop their technologies and grow their business.
The programme offers an intensive 15-week full-time experience, with benefits that include expert technology and business support, mentorship, prototype development, the opportunity for field trials with some of the largest companies in the energy industry and a £100,000 grant.
Early stage start-ups with technology solutions in the following areas can apply:
- CCUS (Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage) and carbon removal solutions
- Low carbon hydrogen
- Alternative fuels and green chemicals
- Renewable power: offshore and onshore
- Digital solutions
- Decarbonised heat and cooling, and other
Applicants can be based anywhere.
The application deadline for the next cohort is 1 October 2023, with the accelerator set to begin in February 2024.
