Grants to support the provision of services by voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations in Gateshead.
The Fund aims to support services or develop and build capacity in voluntary and community organisations in Gateshead to help create stronger, cohesive and connected communities. The funding priorities for 2024/25 are:
- Provide support to maximise benefits for people on low incomes.
- Support for the prevention of domestic abuse.
- Support for people with SEND and their carers.
- Information, advice and guidance provided via the VCSE sector, particularly to underrepresented communities.
- Maximise the voice of Gateshead residents.
- Prevent homelessness and support people to maintain their homes.
