VocTech Seed Fund Reopens for Applications
Funding for UK based organisations using technology to transform how adults gain and maintain skills for work.
The VocTech Seed Fund is currently accepting applications from organisations across all sectors, including charities, trade bodies, existing learning providers and employers.
Grants of between £15,000 and £50,000 are available to support the exploration of new approaches to using technology to enable adult skills development. The funding is specifically aimed at supporting experimentation and scoping of early-stage ideas, including pilots, prototyping and planning for long-term success. The grants can support projects lasting between three and 12 months.
The grants can be used to support a wide range of learners with particular interest in supporting sectors, locations, skills levels and individuals that have not been well served by mainstream provision.
In addition to the grants, there will be opportunities to connect, network and access expertise to support grant recipients on the way to achieving their ambitions.
The funder is offering pre-application online workshops which will take place on 15 June, 16 June, 22 June, 30 June, 5 July and 11 July. Registration is via the UfiVocTech Trust website.
Commenting on the new round, Ufi VocTech Trust CEO, Rebecca Garrod-Waters said:
“We are excited to be opening this round of VocTech Seed grant funding and to see the different tech ideas that people have to tackle the challenges facing learners, employers and educators today.”
This is the second of two calls for 2022.
Applications will be accepted from 15 June to 13 July 2022 (5pm).
