Funding to Address Social Isolation and Loneliness in Scotland
Constituted not-for-profit organisations and community groups in Scotland can apply for funding to support adults aged 16 and above who are most at risk of social isolation, loneliness, and reduced wellbeing.
Impact Funding Partners has reopened the Social Isolation and Loneliness Fund for 2022. A total of £30,000 is available to third-sector organisations and community groups in Scotland to support adults aged 16 and above who are most at risk of social isolation and loneliness, for example, due to personal characteristics, life transitions, or ill-health.
Grants of up to £1,000 are available to cover costs such as:
- Staffing.
- Volunteer expenses.
- Premises or overhead contributions.
- Transport, activities, and trips.
- Small items of equipment up to a value of 20% of the amount applied for.
Applicants must be constituted and have an annual income of less than £150,000 in the last financial year (excluding one-off income for capital items, funding held onto on behalf of another organisation, and emergency funding received in response to COVID-19).
Funding is for activities taking place between 1 May 2022 and 30 September 2022.
The deadline for applications is 18 March 2022.
