Funding to Support Science in Schools Across the UK

Primary and secondary schools can apply for a grant now

The funding is for primary and secondary schools to inspire and engage students through practical science.

Primary schools can apply for grants of £600 and secondary schools for grants of £1,000.

The grants can be used to purchase science equipment or for science projects that enrich students’ learning and encourage enthusiasm for science.

Both primary and secondary schools can use their grant to purchase equipment, deliver science enrichment projects, and support participation in science events and competitions.

A grant is not usually awarded to the same school in two consecutive years.

Grants are awarded to eligible applicants in the order in which they are received.
