Grants of up to £10,000 per year (for possibly up to three years) are available to charitable organisations supporting NEET young people (not in education, employment or training) primarily in London and Kent, to help them enter the workplace.

The funding will support specific projects, rather than general organisational costs. Pro-rata staffing and operational costs will be considered where appropriate.

This programme is particularly (but not exclusively) looking to support programmes of work where young people receive a vocational qualification as part of their employment progression. It aims to support projects with a track record of success, or where the specific model of work is proven to be successful and to support work that is responding holistically to the needs young people face.

Where immediate employment for young people is not possible, clear progression routes should be evident – such as moving on to further qualifications or through developing clearly employable skills during the project.

Applications will be considered from registered not-for-profit organisations with an annual turnover of up to £1 million and with at least one set of audited or independently examined annual accounts.
