School Partnerships Programme Opens for Applications
The Ogden Trust is accepting applications for new school partnerships starting in 2025-26.
The School Partnerships programme offers funding and support to groups of schools in England that are committed to enhancing physics teaching and learning. The programme provides funding for schools over a period of five years.
To be eligible, partnership applications must:
- Have a minimum of six schools.
- Be mixed phase (primary and secondary). Primary only applications will not be accepted.
- Comprise schools that are already in contact and agree to registering an interest in the programme.
Within the application criteria, priority will be given to:
- Secondary school(s) without a physics specialist.
- Schools with students in under-represented/disadvantaged groups.
- Schools with science/physics teachers in under-represented/disadvantaged groups.
- Schools with above national average FSM%
The following support is available:
- A local cluster partnership can apply for up to £2,500 per academic year for the first three years and £1,000 in the fourth year.
- Each established collaboration partnership can apply for up to £2,000 per academic year for the first three years and £1,000 in the fourth year.
Funding will only be paid directly to a school (it cannot be paid to an individual or organisation).
Applications will be accepted from 1 September 2024 to 10 January 2025.
