Scottish Enterprise Seeks Digital Solutions to Industrial Challenges

Scottish Enterprise is offering grants of up to £50,000 to small and medium-sized digital companies in Scotland. The funding is intended to support solutions that address challenges in the energy and manufacturing sectors, with a focus on blockchain-based approaches.

This phase of the initiative seeks digital businesses able to work with industry partners on a three to six month proof of value project. Challenge areas include data sharing, asset tracking and environmental, social and governance (ESG) compliance. The challenges were set by companies selected during the first phase of the call.

Applicants must be registered, trading or have a strategic base in Scotland, and be able to deliver a project between September 2025 and March 2026. While firms may propose solutions to more than one challenge, they can only receive funding for one project.

Funding may be used for salary costs, materials, subcontractor charges and consultancy fees. Projects must assess the design, technical viability and financial feasibility of the proposed digital solution. All activities, including final evaluations, must be completed by 31 March 2026.
