Funding for UK SMEs and Startups in IoT Energy Innovation

SMEs and startups working in energy innovation can apply for financial support through the HEDGE-IoT Open Call, funded under Horizon Europe. The project aims to advance the energy sector by promoting Internet of Things (IoT) solutions that are data-driven and capable of being tested in real-world pilot environments.

Applicants can receive up to €60,000, covering a maximum of 70% of eligible costs. The funding is intended to help organisations create IoT-enabled services that build on HEDGE-IoT’s existing technologies and contribute to the wider transformation of Europe’s energy systems.

The initiative is open to SMEs and startups established in the UK, any EU Member State or a Horizon Europe associated country. Projects supported through this Call are expected to demonstrate the application of IoT technologies within energy environments, with a focus on improving efficiency, performance and system integration.
