Heathrow Programme to Support UK SMEs Expanding Overseas

Heathrow Airport has announced the 2025 round of its World of Opportunity Programme to assist UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in accessing international markets. The initiative is designed to support businesses looking to develop their export potential and broaden their reach overseas.

The scheme will provide grants of £2,000 to 12 SMEs from across the UK. One award will be allocated to a business in each region and nation. In addition to financial support, successful applicants will receive expert guidance in research and export strategies.

Funding may be used to contribute towards the costs of trade missions, market research or training activities aimed at building international capacity.

The programme is open to all SMEs based in the UK that are seeking to expand their presence in global markets.
