Celebrating 40 Years of GrantFinder

9 June 2025 – Idox would like to extend thanks to the charities, local authorities and partners who attended GrantFest 2025 on 5 June – a special event celebrating 40 years of GrantFinder, the UK’s leading funding platform. 

Since its inception in 1985, GrantFinder has empowered thousands of organisations across the UK to discover and secure funding for vital projects and public services. As part of the Idox Group, GrantFinder has grown into a trusted resource, currently offering users access to over 8,500 funding opportunities.

The event also showcased the latest product innovation: Policy Match, a powerful feature that aligns funding searches with local and national policy priorities. Policy Match ensures that users not only find funding, but do so in a way that supports their strategic goals and increases their chances of success.

The day featured insightful sessions from expert guest speakers, including representatives from the National Lottery Community Fund, Charity Commission, Groundwork UK, and a leading UK bid writer who shared practical tips for writing winning applications. Their contributions helped reinforce the event’s core message: that grant funding continues to be a critical lifeline for diverse good causes and communities across the country.

Behind GrantFinder’s success is Idox’s dedicated in-house content team, whose expertise ensures that the platform is updated daily with verified, relevant and time-sensitive funding data.
