Strengthen Your Funding Strategy
Getting funding right in 2026 will take more than just good ideas. With increasingly competitive grant programmes, tighter public budgets and a growing emphasis on collaboration, fundraising and development teams are under real pressure to make every bid count.
That’s why GrantFinder is bringing together funders, charity leaders and local authority bid specialists for a focused, practical webinar designed to help you improve your funding strategy and access new opportunities.
A practical 45‑minute session for busy funding teams
Taking place on Thursday 4 June 2026, 11:00–11:45, this webinar is ideal for local authority teams involved in funding, community regeneration and neighbourhood services and charity and VCSE leaders.
The session is tailored for anyone responsible for shaping bid pipelines, securing grants or building partnerships.
Hear directly from an expert speaker panel
One of the biggest advantages of this webinar is the breadth of experience on the guest speaker panel, offering perspectives from across the funding ecosystem.
Jaymie Tapsell, Funding Officer at The National Lottery Community Fund, will share up-to-date insight into current funding priorities and what really makes applications stand out. With experience both within the VCSE sector and as a funder, Jaymie offers a rare view of funding from both sides of the table.
From a charity perspective, Catherine Foster, Head of Grants and Major Donors at Caudwell Children, will explore what attracts funders and how charities can strengthen their case for support. Drawing on over 25 years’ experience across major national charities, Catherine brings practical advice on successful grantmaking and major donor engagement.
Local authority teams will also benefit from the expertise of Howard Collins, Bid Writer at Runnymede Borough Council. Having secured millions in funding across councils and charities since 2004, Howard will share proven bid-writing techniques, insights into collaborative bidding and tips for navigating the UK funding landscape successfully.
The session will be chaired by Zoe Wood, Content Business Lead at Idox, alongside Timothy Crampton, Senior Account and New Business Development Manager at Idox. They will also highlight how tools like GrantFinder can support smarter funding strategies by identifying opportunities, strengthening pipelines and improving bid readiness.

By the end of the session, attendees can expect:
