Grants to Support STEM Learning in UK Schools and Colleges

Ten Science Community Grants are available to support hands-on STEM learning and collaboration between schools, colleges and professionals across the UK. Each grant offers up to £105,000 over three years.

The funding aims to promote inquiry-based learning, professional development for teachers and sustained partnerships between educators, students and early-career researchers.

Eligible organisations include UK-based STEM institutions that can demonstrate a strong record of engagement with schools, colleges and STEM professionals.

Funding may be used to purchase equipment for small-scale investigative projects, cover school and college participation costs, such as teacher cover and travel, and support training and travel for visiting STEM professionals. It can also be used for data collection, monitoring and evaluation to assess the outcomes of funded work.
