South West Water Invites Applications for Better Futures Fund
Grants of between £2,000 and £15,000 are available for charities, schools, community groups, and other not-for-profit groups to deliver a variety of projects and activities that benefit communities in Cornwall, Devon, the Isles of Scilly, and parts of Dorset and Somerset where South West Water operates.
A total of at least £169,000 per year will be awarded over five years for projects that align with one or more of the following priorities:
- Nature and the environment: Directly impacting and protecting nature for the benefit of community health and wellbeing.
- Education: Providing new opportunities to help people of all ages grow and develop.
- Community: Bringing people together to create a sense of purpose within communities.
- Vulnerability: Providing care and support to people who need extra help.
Funding can be for costs such as equipment hire, training and skills development, employee salaries (for time dedicated to working directly on the project), or professional fees, such as for builders, groundworkers, etc.
